Our peace flags survived the storm.
Being so far inland here in NC we were lucky to see only the outer fringes of Hurricane Sandy. Although she has hit land we are still experiencing wind bursts and patches of rain. Even being this far away.
States north of us, including NJ, where our dear friend, Mary Jane lives were hit hard. Sandy was not kind; flooding and power outages for millions along the coastline. Let us all come together and send as much healing light and love as needed (and much more) all this week to our brothers and sisters hit hardest by this massive storm.
Glad to hear that you're o.k. I've emailed Mary Jane and not gotten a reply so, she must be without electricity.
ReplyDelete~Positive vibes~ to any who were in Sandy's path
Thanks Izzy for showing us how your peace flags weathered the storm. Like others I expect MJ is without power for a bit...we wish her well.

ReplyDeleteHi Izzy - thanks for the images - we have been tracking the storm and thinking positive vibes for all our blog friends over there. As Fiona says we hope MJ is safe but in the dark. Go well. B
Update: It is 11/4 and Mary Jane is safe, but still without power.
ReplyDeleteSo relieved to hear Mary Jane is safe!
ReplyDeleteWell hello there - I'm waving to you from the other side of NC where we live atop a mountain. There's such a majesty to your weathered flags. Thanks for the update on Mary Jane. Wishing there was something we could do to help all our friends who are STILL without power and heat and basic creature comforts there. I guess for now, flying our flags will have to do.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful post and comments -
