It has been a pretty busy day in our household in terms of making a few small contributions towards peace or at least the consciousness of peace on this auspicious day - International Day of Peace. The Peace Flags were installed last night; and photographed early this morning. We added in a peace tree for children activity in the local library; and managed to complete the Peace Tree at the entrance to our block.
I just wanted to share a few photos of the metal peace flags in the soft light of this morning.

Thanks Mary Jane for encouraging us yet again this year to add our voice to peace. Wishing all peace today and always.
They are all so lovely. Hope to see the Peace Tree later on in the week.

ReplyDeleteI, VA & MJ - glad we can gather in the pursuit of peace - thanks for your encouragement. MJ - F & I are fortunate to have each other to encourage peaceful ways and lucky to have the inclination and means to create a place that can offer peace including through the bell. All go well in rippling peace. B
So good to see Ken there with all the flags of the world, seeking peace. We sorely need it.
ReplyDeleteI know that the typical prayer flags are fleeting and become tattered in the wind but I love that your peace flags are more lasting and will have longevity in spreading the message of peace.
