PEACE FLAGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA

Last year shwe-shwe flags flew in this same tree.
This year I decided to fly wooden flags.
The pink Epiphytic Orchids are in bloom,
the Purple Crested Loeries are calling and
the sun is trying to come out from behind the clouds.
A perfect day.

Happy Peace Day everyone!

A peace flag sent to me by Lyle in the States. Lyle is creating a series of women who walk in search of peace.

  1. Love Love Love your wooden triangle flags! Brilliant! It is wonderful to see the flags popping up all over the world again - gentle reminders for peace. What a beautiful flag from Lyle as well; and a beautiful project to be working on. Peace.

  6. Your wooden pendant flags are beautiful and in their sturdy simplicity really signify how we must be strong and resilient in our quest for peace.
